ABOUT KARL
"I've been hitting things with sticks for about twenty years. Hearing the classic drum intro to 'Song 2' by Blur was the turning point - I remember hearing that and thinking: "this is SO COOL - what is that guy doing?"
I soon started playing in bands, and have been gigging regularly ever since then. I've played in pop, indie, punk, metal, hardcore, and grunge bands. Playing in bands like Cherry But No Cake and Yokozuna took me around the UK, France, and Spain, and I have also toured Poland and the Netherlands with Looking for Droids. Additionally, I have recorded many times at studios around London.

I have studied music extensively, and I am certified by the Trinity Guildhall School of Music, and this has provided a solid foundation for my teaching.

After playing for about ten years I then moved into teaching the drums. I'm very passionate about playing the drums and I have a lot of experience, and I love passing that enthusiasm on to other people."
